An tír glas Céilidh - The Green Country Irish Music Gathering
We represent a group of individual musicians, teachers, performers, and bands who are working together to promote Irish music in northeast Oklahoma's "Green Country"
Our Purpose and objectives:
  • Create a relaxed environment for learning the Irish music genre and the instruments
  • Provide frequent opportunities for anyone (not just bands and performers) to play in a music "session" without fear of intimidation.
  • Provide music materials and tune lists for participants to follow
  • Host periodic workshops for beginners as well as advanced players
  • Encourage all ages to learn
  • Motivate participants by simply having fun playing music
